How to Lose Weight While Feeling Good
I grew up a fatty, kids picked on me, I never got chosen for games, showering in the locker room was pure terror and I obviously didn’t have a date to the prom.
High School was NOT fun (is it ever?) and college wasn’t much better. My self-esteem was at low point when I heard about Capsiplex, “Oh great, another diet pill hits the market, big whoop”.
OBESTITY FACT: While being overweight is a world-wide problem, the US reports some of highest rates in the world, increasing from 19.4% in 1997 to 26.6 in 2007, these numbers continue to rise each year. America is a nation that weighs-in on the heavy side.
Name a diet and I’ve likely tried it, even resorting to hypnosis (another failure), but nothing worked and I envisioned a life of out-of-breath walks, furtive stares and kids whispering, “Why is he so fat”.
Honestly I’d given up when a friend (he was also overweight, or used to be) literally shoved a bottle of Capsiplex into my hand saying, “Get off your fat-ass and take these”.
Fighting words from anyone but a good friend who’d faced the same issues. While I didn’t immediately heed his advice, I would later and it would change my life.
OBESTITY FACT: It is estimated that the indirect costs of obesity and associated health related issues, cost businesses and consumers hundreds of billions of dollars in sick days, health related issues and job performance.
Since my (formerly overweight) friend recommended Capsiplex (going so far as to give “force” me a bottle) I figured the least I could do was give it a chance. That said; realize I’m a born skeptic, if someone says “It will”, I usually immediately think, “It probably won’t”.
Step One: What’s inside? I’d had my fill of diet pills and knew they weren’t good for my heart. Capsiplex contains all natural ingredients (that’s a plus) and is a play on the word “Capsicum”.
CAPSICIUM: Part of the nightshade family, also known as chili, red, sweet or bell pepper. It contains Capsaicinoids which is the ingredient we humans find hot.
Other ingredients are
- Caffeine (in small quantities)
- Niacin (an essential human nutrient – also known as Vitamin B3)
- Piperine (an alkaloid that gives peppers their bite or pungency)
HISTORIAL FACT: Red peppers have been used as a nutritional supplement for decades. It is known as for its natural weight management properties.
Okay, so it passed the all-natural ingredient test, let’s move on.
Step Two: What’ the history of the product and what can it can accomplish?
- The company website states an EXTRA 278 calories are burned every day with the regular consumption of Capsiplex. That’s a bold claim but supported by third-party studies stating the body’s metabolism increases for a period-of-time (depending on the person) after the consumption of a measured amount of red pepper.
NOTE: It takes at least 10grams of red pepper to achieve this if taken with food; Capsiplex solved this with their uniquely formulated capsule that dissolves (releasing the ingredients) well into the digestive process..
- This next one was very important since like I said, I’d been overweight (yeah, fat) for years. They say that body mass (that’s me), waist size as well as appetite would be reduced (and that I wanted to see). They also mentioned blood chemistry, but I’d look into that one later.
So here’s what I did based on that claim, I decided to quit reading and take the darn capsules, heck I had a free bottle (courtesy of Mark, my partner-in-weight loss).
CALORIC FACT: 278 calories is equal to…
- 1.3 hours of walking
- Approximately 25 minutes of jogging
- 1 (delicious) hamburger or
- 1 piece of pizza (cheese only)
- 1/2 bagel with (lovely) cream cheese.
Day 1 – I’ve decided to do this religiously (at least) until I’ve gone through my free bottle of capsules. If it works, excellent, if not then I’ve lost nothing. Since I’ve learned that spicy foods (in moderation) are good for you, I’ve added them to my daily diet.
CELEBRITY ENDORSEMENTS: While the sun does not rise or set based on Hollywood, celebrities are known to ferret out products, companies and people that deliver results. Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Kelley Osborne and others have taken and endorse Capsiplex.
Day 2 – No weight loss as yet (but couldn’t be expected this soon, but no heartburn or digestion issues either. I am talking the recommend one capsule per day.
Day 7 – While I haven’t actually stepped on a scale, my pants seem to fit better, not as much of a strain on the waistline.
Day 11 – Bought a scale, down 3 pounds
Day 17 – Pants are loose, tightening belt one full notch.
Day 23 – Down 11 pounds, my skepticism is losing ground.
Guys, I’m going to cut to the chase and tell you it works (this from a skeptic). I finished off my one month freebie (that my friend gave me) and have now ordered a more substantial 3-month supply.
I plan to continue and who knows, maybe even exercise a bit (we should all do that). There are a million and one (or more) diet offers on the web, my advice, check ‘em out, but be sure and add Capsiplex to the mix.
The company website is full of useful information, endorsements, testimonials and such. And sure, the site is designed to sell the product, but as long as it actually works (and it does) then nothing wrong with good ‘ole American entrepreneurism.
My recommendations – either find a buddy like my friend Mark (and no you can’t have his e-mail) or give Capsiplex a try.
